Vừa qua, một số quốc gia như Đức, Séc, Phần Lan, Tây Ban Nha, Mỹ đã tạm dừng cấp thị thực vào hộ chiếu mẫu mới của Việt Nam với lý do trong hộ chiếu mẫu mới không ghi nơi sinh. Để tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho công dân Việt Nam được nhập cảnh vào các quốc gia này, Cục Quản lý xuất nhập cảnh sẽ thực hiện bị chú nơi sinh vào hộ chiếu khi có yêu cầu.
Recently, some countries such as Germany, Czechia, Finland, Spain, USA temporarily stopped issuing visas in Vietnam’s new model passport for the reason that the new model passport did not mention “place of birth”. To facilitate for Vietnamese citizens to enter such countries, Immigration Department shall add “place of birth” information in the passport when requested by the citizen.
1. Trường hợp là hộ chiếu mới được câp trong nước, công dân nộp tờ khai đề nghị cấp hộ chiếu (mẫu TK01 Thông tư 31/2023/TT-BCA). Tại mục “đề nghị” ghi rõ nội dung “bị chú nơi sinh vào hộ chiếu” (không cần dán ảnh) và kèm theo hộ chiếu mới đã được cấp.
In case, the new model passport is issued domestically, the citizen needs to submit a passport application declaration (form TK01 of Circular No. 31/2023/TT-BCA). In the “request” section, the citizens clearly state the phase “noting place of birth in the passport” (no photo) and attach the new model passport.
2. Trường hợp là hộ chiếu mới do Cơ quan đại diện Việt Nam ở nước ngoài cấp, ngoài các giấy tờ nêu trên, công dân phải nộp thêm giấy khai sinh hoặc hộ chiếu mẫu cũ,… để chứng minh nơi sinh.
In case, the new model passport is issued by a Vietnamese representative agency abroad, in addition to the documents mentioned above, the citizens must submit additional documents such as a birth certificate or an old passport, etc to prove his/her place of birth.
- Thời gian giải quyết hồ sơ là 02 ngày nếu nộp hồ sơ tại Cục Quản lý xuất nhập cảnh hoặc 05 ngày nếu nộp hồ sơ tại Công an tỉnh/thành phố trực thuộc trung ương.
- The processing time is 02 working days if submitting the application to Immigration Department or 05 working days if submitting the application to Province’s Police Security.
